Water Aerobics

Why water aerobics?  It offers numerous health benefits, including: 

Cardiovascular Health:

  • Improves heart and lung function
  • Increases cardiovascular endurance 

Muscular Strength and Endurance:

  • Water provides 10-15% more resistance for muscle building
  •  Strengthens core muscles and improves overall body strength

Joint Health

  • Low-impact exercise reduces stress on joints
  • Improves flexibility and range of motion
  • Beneficial for individuals with arthritis or other joint conditions

Weight Management:

  • Burns calories and promotes weight loss.
  • Reduces stress and improves mood
  • Provides a sense of relaxation and well-being

Other Benefits: Improves balance, agility, and coordination, reduces blood pressure, increases bone density, suitable for individuals of all fitness levels and abilities. It’s also a fun, social activity. A great way to meet new friends!

In summary, water aerobics is a versatile and effective form of exercise that offers a wide range of health benefits for individuals of all ages and abilities. 

Classes begin Monday, June 2.  They will be held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (NO CLASS JULY 4th), from 9:30-10:15 am.  Water aerobics web gloves are recommended for added workout benefits. 

Pricing will be monthly: $60 for members of Wylie Swim Club, and $90 for non-members.
